Elephant Garlic, also referred to as Tahiti or Russian garlic, defies its name as it’s not a true garlic but rather a cross between leek and garlic. With its colossal cloves measuring 4-5cm, it imparts a gentle flavour perfect for enhancing salads and stir-fries. Beyond its culinary appeal, the mauve blooms of this species alone make it a worthwhile addition to any garden, particularly favoured in Australia for its robustness, beauty, and taste.
This resilient plant boasts large blue-green strap-like leaves with towering flower stalks reaching up to 2 metres, adorned with vibrant pink or purple blooms in spring.
Elephant garlic thrives in rich, well-drained soil (perlite) and full sunlight, making it ideal for Perth home gardens.
Grow now and harvest in November. What’s available for sale is 1 pot as per the attached image.

I had lovely juicy Sweet Temptation figs in the first season - planted in ground - in Perth’s Northern suburbs. The Maha Chanook grafted dwarf mango tree was planted in a 90 L pot. It is now 12 months old. In its first year, it flowered in Sep and fruit set mid Oct. It is Feb now and the largest fruit is 16 cm. I am very much looking forward to tasting my first ever tree-ripened mango in the coming weeks.😋😋 Thank you PMN!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Trudy Stewart2024-01-06A very easy process! I’ve wanted a pomegranate tree for years. I selected the type of tree I was after online and it was delivered within 3 days. I went with the planting service to ensure my new tree got the best start in my garden, this took about 15 minutes. I’m now planning for more fruit trees and will be definitely be using Perth mobile nursery again.
