Hi, my name is Lychee but people call me Red Ball. If you are looking for tropical fruits to enhance your garden, well don’t go pass me without adding me in your shopping cart.

When ripe my skin is will look in shades of red/maroon. My flesh is white in colour and my seeds is like cat’s eyes. I am super sweet and kids loves eating me just like that or can be used for cake decoration, smoothies, or juicing.

I like temperature above 5 degrees so in winter make sure cover my base with lots of mulch to retain heat. For young plant use frost cloth to cover my leaves so that I can be warm and cozy.

What else you need to know about me? I am marcotted (grown from cutting) so I am semi-dwarf (2/4 of normal size). It will take 4 to 5 years for harvesting so you need to be a patient with me. Plant me where I can get full sun (80% to 100%).

Apparently I can be grown in a large pot but has to be bigger than 35L. Moderate watering required. On a hot day, you want to make sure my soil are moist.
