Blue Java banana also know as ice cream banana which is fast growing and cold tolerant banana tree. The skin of the fruit has tint of blue and as the fruit mature/ripen, it turns yellow. Blue Java  considered one of the hardiest among banana trees, able to withstand high wind and low temperatures.
